The invitation I chose looks like any other standard invitation but with the wedding date added to the upper right corner.
The invitation also has an addendum from the wedding planner stating that the date can change.
The only difference is that the email address for the invitee is actually the wedding planner’s email. The only other option was to create a new email address and then use the wedding planner’s email address as the invitee’s. But because the wedding planner has a ton of other emails that need to be addressed, the wedding planner’s email address is the only one that matters.
The wedding organizer of my friend’s wedding, the wedding planner had the idea of using wedding planners email address as the invitation email and had the email address of one of the wedding planners as the invitee. As it turns out, the wedding planner was actually the one who had the email address of the wedding organizer. The wedding organizer was the one who had to change the wedding date because she couldn’t remember to send the proper invitation.
The wedding organizer is the one who will end your marriage, and I’m sure she will be looking through your emails. I have a feeling she will see that you are using the wrong email address for wedding registration, so she will do what she does best, send a death email to your entire address book.
Another interesting tidbit is that the wedding organizer is actually a woman who seems to be a former co-worker of the bride. I wonder if that makes her less likely to help the groom? I have no idea.
