First, if you have a band on your finger, then the best hiding place is right in the corner of your hand. This will keep your ring from getting in the way. However, if your ring is on your ring finger, then its best to hide it somewhere just above the band.
Some jewelry stores will also sell you a special box where you can store your ring. This could be the perfect place to hide your ring, but please be aware that these boxes are not foolproof.
