This photo is of my wedding, in which my husband and I were able to take a day trip to a beautiful natural area where we were able to walk through a sunken garden. We had no idea it was a day trip to the garden before we took it! This is the first wedding we have done that we have enjoyed taking a day trip to the garden.
The first one, we had planned for the day, we had it all planned out, and then my brother was called by his parents to say that they just couldn’t help. Well it turns out they loved the idea of a day trip, so we decided to book it for this special day. The garden is breathtaking, and the location, Lake Michigan, was a perfect place for us to do this so we could be together.
The garden was absolutely beautiful. The view from the garden was a great place to start the day, and the location was perfect for us to enjoy the beautiful view while we were getting ready.
