The walls in my bedroom were painted in a very bold, bright color, and I thought it would be fun to incorporate it into a bold striped wall. The walls are a little high and the stripes are a little low and they were meant to be fun.
My striped walls room is one of the most fun things we ever did together. It was fun to create something totally different and challenging for each other. After we started painting, we discovered that it was best to match up the stripes and shapes of the curtains to the wall paint. It was great to have a completely different room to work in.
Stripes are a great way to create a contrast, or to decorate the walls with a pattern, and we wanted to do something different with our bedroom. We love the little white bedding that we put on the floor. It looks super simple and easy to hang a big striped wall right from the floor.
Another great trick is to use striped pillows as wall coverings. It can be a fun way to add more color to your bedroom, and it’s a great way to make your bedroom seem more modern, too.
Stripes are a great way to add contrast and create a “space” you won’t want to leave. We added a striped wall in the living room and added a striped pillow in the bedroom.
Another option would be to go for bold colors like stripes or stripes and stripes. It can be fun to mix up your colors (and you can always experiment with your own colors) and add some unique color combinations.
We also went with a striped wall in the bathroom and a striped pillow in the bedroom.
