From the time I was a little girl growing up in Southern California, I always wanted to be a musician. I was obsessed by the idea of having a great voice and making it a part of my life. I was a huge fan of music at that age, as well as movie soundtracks and all the other things that were popular in that time. I even had a little band that played wedding events.
I’m not sure I would call myself a musician, but I have always wanted to be a singer and singer-songwriter. When I was in college, I took a class that taught me how to be a professional singer. I was a really good student, and I thought it would be a great way to turn my life from “dorms in a box” into a full-time job.
The lessons in that class were very different than what I was expecting. It was a class that was very much centered around songs and how you should sing them. It was not at all focused on the technical aspects of singing. There was a lot of emphasis on the “songs” as a whole (not “music”) rather than just the lyrics.
The class was called “Sound Theory,” where the music theory was actually a major aspect of what the songs were about. The goal was to show you how to use music as a tool and that you should use it to get your music career off the ground. The biggest lesson I learned about music was that it can be a great tool in your overall music career, but it’s not as simple as using it just to get a job or to get a song into the music charts.
Music is a great genre for a wedding. Many people have wedding-related musical taste, but if you start to look at what the genre of music is and how it relates to the wedding day and what songs are used, you start to notice trends. People start to think of a wedding as more of an event where you play music, not just like a party.
It’s easy to get caught up in the “wedding scene” or wedding-related music genre because it seems like there’s always been a slew of people in the “wedding scene” who are trying to get into the music scene. I know a lot of people who are in bands who never thought they would get to the music industry or who are just now deciding whether to start a band or not.
In some ways it’s the easiest way to break into music. When I first started recording for bands, I was in a band with two other friends. We were all from different backgrounds, and as we got into recording, we became more and more immersed in the music scene. At a certain point, I realized that I didn’t have a lot of experience playing in bands, so I was looking for a place to practice in the meantime.
The one place that has kept me away from my “regular band” friends is the wedding industry. I can’t explain why, but I just get totally sucked into the sound of weddings.

The one that I use myself is the one I got as a wedding present in Italy. It’s a very solid mic that has very good range and can be used in a variety of situations.
