It’s a pretty straightforward cake, with pretty straightforward instructions, but it’s still pretty cool and pretty messy. We’re still not sure if the ruffling is intentional or not, but either way there is a lot more to this cake than the simple look of it.

I have no idea what the glaze is, but I am quite sure it is not buttercream. I also have no idea what the whipped cream topping is either.
It is rumored that this cake was created by the bride’s grandmother, and the bride’s grandmother is the original owner of the recipe.
Because what is a beautiful wedding? Well, a beautiful wedding is any wedding that involves a lot of cake, lots of cake, and lots of cake. To make a wedding cake is to make a masterpiece of buttercream tart cake. And that is exactly what it is.
This cake is so delicious, it’s like watching a slice of Grandma’s wedding cake being made. And it is so easy to make that it’s like watching that cake being made from scratch. This cake is a wedding cake.
So why do I feel like the wedding cake here is a raspberry cheesecake? Because the raspberries were a surprise. The most amazing thing about this cake is that you can make it in advance. All you need is a couple of jars of raspberry jam and some buttercream.
And then you can just set it out on your porch and do what the heck ever you want with it, not to mention there’s always a bunch of free raspberries and the cake is so easy to make. And if you want to make the cake extra special, you can decorate it with the raspberries and make it into a wedding cake with a big ol’ ring.
