At my home, I have three distinct spaces. The kitchen, living room, and dining room. Each of those spaces has a different feeling. I can’t quite put my finger on what they are, but there are subtle differences between them.
For a while now we here at the Pestilence have been thinking about how our homes and our lives are built, and how our homes and lives are based on the materials we have available to us. Of course, one of the most basic things to consider is what materials are available to you. With the advent of plastics, we are able to create houses that are more aesthetically pleasing than ever, but also more vulnerable to damage.
In particular, we recently built a house on a very large piece of land, but we also brought in materials of our own to create a house that was built in the city. The builder made a list of what materials he wanted, and we researched whether we could source them for him. He went down three different routes, each of which he could use for his own purposes.
What he ultimately chose was the lowest bidder. Not only did he build him a house and a garden, we helped him paint it as well. The result is what we call “house + garden.” It’s a tiny house that is extremely well-designed, but also extremely vulnerable to everyday damages.
It’s also one of the very few houses where we are completely at the whim of the builder. The builder’s choice of material, as well as his construction choices and finishes, are what make him the ultimate builder, and his home is a true testament to his skills.
We’ve helped him paint for two years now. We are an integral part of his construction. Not only do we come with him when he buys materials and tools, we often bring him to work so he can talk to us about how the house is doing. Sometimes we even work with him a bit to make it easier. We even paint his house. Its not for him though and he doesn’t mind that we do. Its just part of the job.

We can be a bit of a pain in the ass, but we also make a lot of great things happen. This is one of the things we do that no other contractors can do, which makes everyone smile so much.

That’s always a good thing, and it’s important to us to ensure that our interior spaces have a great first impression.
We do believe in the power of paint, and believe that it is one of the best things to have in a home. We’re passionate about interior painting and have a lot of experience building a diverse collection of homes, from modern to retro. What we do is not for everyone, though, and if you don’t like what we’re doing, dont expect us to paint your house.
