Puerto Rico is one of those countries that you don’t really expect to see in the U.S. unless you’re from it. It makes the news now because of the hurricane that hit the island just last week. But it’s actually a surprisingly nice place to visit. It has a mild climate and it’s a great place to experience both the lush rain forest and the Caribbean sun.
The two big things that you will notice about Puerto Rico are the lush rain forest and the Caribbean sun. It is one of those places where the rain forest is so thick that it feels like it has been left untouched (it is still very active, though) and the Caribbean sun makes everything from the palm trees to the ocean to the food stand seem to be so much brighter.
This isn’t a place that is known for its tropical sun. The best time to visit Puerto Rico is right before or right after the rain forest’s season and that’s the best time of year for the Caribbean sun. The tropical weather is so hot that the rain forest is almost a shade. The Caribbean sun is so hot that you can feel the heat from the sun all the way to your toes.
Puerto Rico, as well as the Caribbean, has been plagued by hurricanes and tropical storms since the late 1800s. With some exceptions, the storms have wreaked havoc on the island. Even though Hurricane Katrina caused more damage than any other hurricane in the history of the United States (because it hit New Orleans instead of Houston or Tampa), the only thing that the storms have done is increase the popularity of the islands as a tourist destination.
Puerto Rico was hit hard by Hurricane Maria (a category 4 storm) which made landfall in Puerto Rico on October 20th. The storm destroyed countless homes and left thousands without power in the worst affected areas. Now Puerto Rico residents are struggling to rebuild, which is making the island less attractive as a tourist destination. In fact, with the cost of living being so high in Puerto Rico, many people are worried about how long the island will be able to recover from the storm.
So how do you help? First, you can donate to help cover the costs of rebuilding your home, which is now estimated at over $15,000 per home in Puerto Rico. Then, you can volunteer to help rebuild houses in the affected areas like San Juan and Bayamon in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico is still in the process of rebuilding, so you can’t realistically be on the island for awhile. While that may not be the case in some areas, for the most part you can’t volunteer in the affected areas since the local government doesn’t have a plan for how the affected areas will turn back into more normal areas in the coming years.
Puerto Rico is the third largest island in the island of Puerto Rico. There are over 15,000 homes that are damaged. It is a complicated process. While we have a good idea of where the damage is, the damage isnt all at once. It is a slow and methodical process. The most important thing to remember is that we cant even begin to estimate the total amount of damage.
Puerto Ricans in the US are the fifth largest island in the US. So they are extremely valuable. Puerto Ricans are very patriotic. While there are lots of Puerto Ricans in the USA it is their job, and their hard work, to make sure the government does not get in the way of its plans. So in order to protect the island from becoming another island like the ones that are already destroyed, the government will likely have to make some major changes.
Puerto Ricans are part of that “dangerous, angry” group of people who have no use for the US, and they are very angry at the US government for destroying their paradise. They want to get back to their former self, but are unwilling to take any more American aid. So they are willing to fight off the US invaders, but are willing to go to jail for it as well.
