The interior design industry is one of the most glamorous and exciting jobs in the world. For my own personal tastes, I have always been drawn to a home with an open floor plan.
I love a house with a formal appearance, lots of wood, and maybe a few glass doors or windows. Also, I like to have a small back yard that is not too large to clutter up with grass.

Youre probably still thinking that its just a matter of decorating the whole house. Don’t be fooled. Wood can be used to provide the structure of a house, but not all of the design elements.

Even though they may not use the same materials, decorator or not, they will still be using elements of modern architecture. There are a lot of things you could take from the interior design of a house to make it modern. You can make a house more open and airy by doing things like placing a fireplace or a couch in the center of the main living room.
