Once you get the right shoes, it’s hard to go back. I was so happy when I first bought navy heels for my wedding that I wore them for most of the rest of the ceremony. They were so unique (and inexpensive) that I ended up wearing them through the entire reception too.

She used to work with a man named Rick Hock. Hock was an incredibly talented artist and sculptor but he also had one crazy habit. If your toe ever felt the slightest bit cold, he would literally take his toe off and put it in a freezer and freeze it.
Hock passed away in 1997, and I guess he had some crazy idea about freezing toes. Or maybe it was just a good idea. Either way, Hock’s idea led to the company that now makes the navy heels for weddings.
The shoes are made to be worn at all times, not just when you’re dancing to your favorite song. They have a stretchy fabric on the sole that can accommodate a couple of toes, and the heels are made of leather. With a toe to heel ratio of 0.6, and a heel height of 24.5 inches, these shoes are incredibly comfortable. You just have to be careful not to step on them in the middle of a dance.
Hocks is not just the shoe company that makes the navy heels, they also are the shoe company that makes the navy shoes for weddings. Now that’s a good start.
Hocks also made the bridesmaid shoes for the wedding of a few years ago. They made a ton of wedding shoes, and the company was making a lot of money. The shoes were made of the same leather that the bridesmaids wore, and they were also very comfortable when you walked on them.
I love the navy heels for weddings. Hocks made them. They are comfortable, they match the style of the bridesmaids, they look great, and they also make a cool visual impression. I’m not sure how they were able to sell them at the wedding, but it’s great that they did. I think I’ll be wearing them again this weekend.
