I knew this woman for years. I’ve known her since we were young kids in the same grade. We played together, had our high school reunion, and still talk to each other on occasion. I was so excited for the wedding she was having, as it was the first time I got to share in the wedding of a woman I’d met only one time a few years before.
Lea had a real shippable story and a great story to match it. A few years before, she had married a guy named Scott, who’s now deceased, and their daughter, Maddie, was born. Lea’s mom was having a baby at the time, so she was on-call. So she got back into the swing of things after Scott’s death, and soon after, Lea and Maddie moved in.
So I was excited. I was excited because Lea was my first real lady crush, and I was excited because Maddie was the first time I felt like a real person for a long time. I was excited because we went to a wedding with the same girl I had been dating for so long, and we were all in the same wedding. I was excited because everyone I knew had gone, and it was the first time in so many years that I got to attend a wedding.
But even after I got over the initial shock of seeing my first real woman, I still couldn’t shake the sense that I’d just seen a ghost. I was a little embarrassed that I was going, but I was also a little excited that my best friend was one of the wedding guests.
That “ghost” was actually a figment of someone’s imagination, and even though the wedding was held on a very formal day you can still see a few people dressed up as the bride, groom, and some other couples. (Not that any of them actually had a real wedding.) And yes, it IS a ghost. But who knows what the hell it is.
Lea is a young French model working as a stripper. In the time she’s been on Deathloop, she’s been killed at least a half dozen times. Her killer is never shown and it is believed that he/she/they are all the same guy. The only other person killed is Lea’s friend and fellow stripper, Vicky. Vicky’s ghost is the ghost of her deceased sister.
The last time we saw Vickys ghost was a clip from a TV show called “The Adventures of Dick Cavett” where the actress playing Vickys sister, played by Nicole Behar, said that she could see her sister in the afterlife. And this is why the ghost of Vickys sister is so important.
Vickys ghost is probably the most important ghost in the game. I mean, if you think about it, Vickys ghost is the only one who can see her sister. Vickys sister is probably the only one who can see her ghost. Vickys ghost is the only one who can see her sister and her ghost. If you think about it, the only thing that makes you go “OH SHIT” is a ghost.

The sister ghost isn’t necessarily the most important ghost. But if you’re a fan of the horror genre, Vickys ghost is probably one of the most important ghosts in the game.
