The opening sequence of the game’s first level, “The Interior”, begins with a man wandering around a small, dimly lit room. He begins to sing and sings in an accent that’s hard to place, and it’s just sort of a thing that happens. When the intro music stops, the man is walking backwards in time to the song.
Now, obviously I’m not gonna lie, I have no idea what the man was singing. But for my money, this intro song is pretty much the best part of the first level of the game (and probably the best part of any first level of any game). It’s the intro song. It’s as catchy as it is beautiful. It’s the kind of song that everyone in the game sings.
My favorite part of the intro song is when the man walks in the same direction again. The only other time this happens is when the man is walking through the first level of the game. And at first I thought it was a glitch. But then I realized it was because the man is walking in a direction just before the song starts.
He must be a very long man because he can walk through walls. And at this point the man is walking through the first level of the game at the exact same time as the song starts! He even walks into the same room as the song plays! This is actually really cool because the song is supposed to start in the intro level and then the player will be in a room. But I guess I’m used to this kind of thing.
The koenigsegg interior is an environment that contains a virtual theater. The man’s body is there, and he’s walking through the theater pretending to be the actor playing the lead character. As he walks through the theater, he’s actually moving a virtual chair, a virtual door, and a virtual wall. As well as he’s walking the virtual door, he’s actually walking the virtual wall, and a virtual chair. It’s really cool.
