Yes, Halloween has gotten a lot more creative with its custom cakes over the years. From a very simple cake to a wedding cake to a super spooky cake, we’ve seen everything. And that’s not to mention the amazing variety of custom cake flavors that are available for each of these events.
In addition to the obvious cakes for the biggest occasions, the Halloween season also has a few unique cakes that are just plain fun. From the “horror” cake to the “fantasy” cake, weve got you covered.
Just because a cake is more traditional doesn’t mean it has to be boring. For example, my personal favorite from the bunch is the Halloween cake. It has a very spooky theme and is topped with a very spooky design. The best part is that the cake is completely edible and will actually stay fresh in your fridge for quite a while. The only downside? The cake is about $45 and is a bit of a challenge to make.
In our review of the 2016 Halloween cake we said it was a bit on the heavy side. However, I think it was a good thing that it was not too sweet, because it was a lot of work. The best part is that, since we were making it for a wedding, the bride and groom were allowed to decorate it however they wanted. They even had their guests do their own decorations for the cake as well.
The fun is that no matter how much you tweak the recipe, you can always find a better one somewhere else. We really wanted to make the best cake of the season, but since we were out of town, we couldn’t make the cake just for us. So we used a recipe from my friend’s wedding cake. It was so good, so simple, and so delicious, we had to make sure we made a cake for a wedding.
Oh, and we were so proud of them, and it went down as one of the most memorable and delicious wedding cakes weve ever made. It was such a fun party, and the cake is now featured on our site for all to enjoy.
