Our philosophy is based on creating things that others say they will love. We love to create and create on our own terms and on our own schedule. We don’t just want to do what everyone else is doing.
The reason we created gemini was to create a piece of jewelry that people would actually love. We do what we love because we love it, not because we have to.
gemini is a pretty big deal in the jewelry field, and its a pretty big thing for us too. We were honored to have its first ever design selected into the Design Museum’s inaugural exhibit in New York. We’ve loved this store since it opened in December of 2008.
The Gemini Design Museum is the only organization devoted to promoting the public’s love for the art of gemstone jewelry. We are an independent museum founded in 2008 in the historic Fortezza neighborhood of Los Angeles by Gemini founder and CEO David Boulton. The mission of Gemini is to inspire and educate all those who love gemstone jewelry and to unite the jewelry business with the art of gemstone design. We have had over 1,500 designs chosen from 100 different manufacturers and designers.
All the designs we create are unique because of our commitment to the art of gemstone jewelry. We are not a company that just has a bunch of generic designs from the same companies. We do not design to be sold for profit. We are a nonprofit organization that works with a limited number of manufacturers and designers and we also create designs that are original.
We do not do any manufacturing for our designs. We design our own, we design our own, and we have no manufacturing.
