While most of us would agree that a bedroom is one of the most important room in a person’s house, it is also one of the least talked about rooms in the entire house. While there are many great ideas for a couple bedroom, I wanted to take some time to share my personal best two-bedroom, two-bathroom, and one-bedroom bedroom. I hope this helps you to create a new bedroom that you will love for many years to come.
I know I’ve been told that I have a bad reputation for not being able to find a decent bedroom by myself. I’m sure the same is true for most people in this field. I’m not saying “don’t try.” I’m saying that when you find a bedroom that is all your own and where you live together, you should do the same.
I know when I had my first baby my husband and I made some really important decisions about what room I would have for the baby. I wanted to have the most comfortable room for the baby, but also the best looking room possible. At the same time I wanted to have a room that was spacious, beautiful, and easy to maintain. We both agreed that the best place to put the nursery would be the bedroom. This isn’t to say that we never played around with different ideas.
So we decided that the room I wanted for the crib would be the bedroom, and the room for the crib would be the nursery. You never can tell if your decisions are going to be the best and most compatible with your partner’s preferences.
Because of the way that our minds work, we always come up with a room that works best for us. We do this by thinking about different ways that we could have a room. We might want to have a room that is cozy, and cosy. We might want a large space, and large. We might want a room that is comfortable, and comfortable. We might want a room that is functional, and functional. We might want a room that is a perfect size, and perfect.
And then we do this by thinking about how our room would look if it was exactly what we wanted it to be, and what we would need to fix it if we didn’t. It’s not a perfect science, of course, but a lot of the time it works out.
In this day and age of the internet, it seems like every couple has their own ideas about how their bedroom should look. Some of us want a minimalist room (no dresser, no bookcases, no pictures, no dresser drawers, no mirrors) because we like a minimalist look. Others want a room that is dark and cosy (or at least not too dark or too cosy) because we like a cosy room.
This is where your room ideas will differ. You have to think about how your bedroom is going to work with your lifestyle and how you want to mix and match with all of your furniture. You have to get creative about how you want to lay the furniture out, and whether or not it’s going to add to the atmosphere of the room or not.
If you have a bedroom, you want it to feel like a space to get lost in. You want it to feel like any other room in your house, but it has to have that feeling of an out-of-this-world feeling. You want it to feel like a space that you are proud to have in your home.
