The ultimate winter sled ride is a fun and engaging winter trip for the whole family. A bobsled ride is when you glide across a flat, hard surface, and are supported by a sled. Most bobsled rides are at the Winter Sports Center in Lake Placid, New York.
A bobsled ride looks like a cross between a roller coaster and a cable car. The ride itself is a two-person sled, usually with two harnessed guys on either side. You’ll control the speed and direction of your sled, which is also supported by a single person on the opposite side. The sled itself can range from 16 to 60 feet long, and it can be raised and lowered by a cable.
The best part about a bobsled ride is that it is a good way to exercise. In fact, it might be one of the best ways to exercise. Just like a regular exercise machine, you get to train without having to worry about the cost or the time it takes, and it’s also a bit cheaper than going to the gym. As you read this, the bobsled team is preparing to take out the first of the eight Visionaries. They also have to contend with the evil-looking alien villain, Ripper, who tries to poison them on purpose. The bobsled team’s job is to race down the course, jump off the track, and race back up again in time for the first shot.
In a way, this is a pretty standard bobsled situation. You’re on a fast track, and it’s a combination of fast turns and steep inclines that you are going to have to deal with. We don’t know what the Visionaries are doing either, but we do know they have to be stopped. And to stop them, the bobsled teams have to run down the course, jump off the track, and race up again.
