I know what you’re thinking, “Where is this coming from?” Well, it’s from reading a book. The book I mentioned is called “The Three Levels of Self-Awareness” and it’s written by the writer of The Secret. You see, the author of The Secret is the same author as my very first book: The Secret of the Universe.
The Three Levels of Self-Awareness is basically an argument on self-awareness. In it he argues that we have to learn to be aware of our own actions, thoughts, emotions, and other self-aware aspects of ourselves.
I’m definitely going to be the first to admit that I’m not entirely sure what he is talking about. I’m going to give it a try though.
Well I can see where he is coming from. The way I look at it is if we have the ability to learn to be aware of our own thoughts, then we have the ability to learn to stop beating ourselves up over what we did. It makes good sense.
I’m with ncash on this one. I think we need to relearn that we can’t just “be aware of our thoughts” and “stop beating ourselves up” over something, because that would just be a waste of energy. We need to learn to just be aware that an action we took was a thought, and to learn to stop beating ourselves up over it.
