A coin that was minted by the George Washington in 1789. With the image of the Washington standing in front of a tree, the design may have been intended to symbolize the independence and freedom that the fledgling nation hoped to attain when Washington was elected as the first president of the United States in 1789.
I’ve heard that the George Washington coin is a very rare coin, but the image of the Washington is very clear, so I would suspect that it would be worth more than what I’ve seen.
