Tip #11: Start with a list of items you’ll need to get started.
You may not know what equipment you’ll need when starting out, so it’s best to have all your bases covered right from the start. Let’s use an example where we want to work remotely as an ESL teacher in South Korea (EFL), which is often called Hagwon or Gwanghwamun English Teacher (GEW). Make sure that you have these necessary tools and materials before getting any further into this process: o A computer – laptop preferred for mobility purposes; can be desktop PC or Mac if needed as long as programs are compatible. o Keyboard – wireless recommended since cables might not always carry well in certain circumstances.
o Mouse – wireless is preferred for the same reasons as a keyboard, but if you can’t find one that suits your needs then try to get something with an ergonomic design and non-slip rubber pads on both sides. o Headphones or earbuds – noise cancelling headphones are best so you don’t have any interruptions from outside noises like traffic or construction near your place of work; otherwise make sure there’s a volume control switch on them in case they’re too loud for others around you at home (e.g., roommates).
Tip #12: Try not to use all your equipment batteries up before starting out, especially if it includes things like a mouse and keyboard.
Tip #13: Sitting or standing up straight is important for your health, but it’s also better for typing accuracy when you’re at home. Make sure you’re using the correct posture so that your wrists are level with the keys on the keyboard while resting them lightly on a flat surface like an armrest rather than holding them in front of you as if they’re too heavy to hold up themselves (i.e., don’t lean onto one side). It might help to adjust how close to the screen you sit; sometimes people can type faster and more accurately closer to their screen because they have less glare from overhead lights sources, which may be another good reason why ergonomic keyboards exist – this way
Tip #12: It’s important to take time for yourself and your mental well being. Even if you have a great job with perfect coworkers, sometimes it can still be hard not to start feeling like you’re in an office environment (especially since many people stay at home while working). To combat this problem, try setting up work hours so that there are designated periods where you physically leave the house or spend time on activities besides typing away on your keyboard all day. You can also do things outside of work such as going to see a movie or taking a walk around the block when these times come about; even just 15 minutes will help make sure there is enough space between any given task and give your brain some relief from focusing on one thing for too long.
